Leisure & Amenities

The Leisure & Amenities Committee is an advisory committee (with the exception of the Changing Rooms/Toilet Block refurbishment/demolition project) which meets monthly (last Wednesday) to oversee the development, management and maintenance of the parish council’s leisure facilities. 

This committee also looks after:

• Allotments/paddock at Hall End;
• Keeley End Pond;
• Burial grounds for which the parish council has a designated responsibility;
• Trees for which the parish council has a designated responsibility;
• Public open space for which the parish council has a designated responsibility (including grass cutting);   
• Street furniture including benches, bins (emptied by Bedford Borough Council), bus shelters, noticeboards, planters and two street lights at Hall End and Potters Cross;
• Village war memorial.

Members of the public may become members of this committee.
