Borough & Parish Council Surgery

When: First Saturday of the month, 11am-12pm

When: Tuesday 23 July, 2024 – 3:30pm to 7:30pm

Wednesday 25 September 2024 – 5:30pm to 8:30pm

Discussing: Development of W3 of the Neighbourhood Plan

Green space consultation at funfest 2017

Annual Fun Fest

When: Saturday 12 July, 2024  – 1pm to 5pm

Where: Fun Fest, Council Marquee on the recreational ground, Church Road.

Discussing: Current topics being consulted upon at time, plus any parish council issues.

Future Consultations

W10 – Green Space consultaion

When: Several sessions in 2025 and 2026

Where: TBA

Discussing: The Crown Estate will be transferring the land W10 in the Neighbourhood Development Plan to the Parish Council. There will be several consultations on how this land could be used to enhance wildlife and village users. The land is around 19 Hectares in size and is the two yellow areas in the picture to the left.

Completed Consultations – works being carried out

Below are a list of consultations that have been held and now the work is being carried out.

  • Converting the changing rooms at the recreational ground for something more usable;
  • Installing Average Speed Cameras within the village;
  • 20mph limit on all minor roads within Wootton;
  • Double yellow lines – Both side of the road at Hall End Road & Hill Lane ‘T’ Junction
  • Double yellow lines – Cause End Road & Lorraine Road ‘T’ Junction by Tesco
  • Double yellow lines – Bedford Road west side from Cause End Road roundabout to bus layby

Completed Consultations – project finished

Below are a list of consultations that have been held and all works have been completed.

  • Installing a new 4G Floodlit Artificial pitch;
  • Installing a new Entrance sign at Keeley Lane;
  • Real Time Passenger Information and link to Website;
  • Neighbourhood Development Plan;
  • New playground for under 5 with sensory play included;
  • New Skate park;
