Step 4: Submission of the Neighbourhood Plan to the Bedford Borough Council
The Parish Council has formally submitted the neighbourhood plan to the Borough Council for examination, the plan will be publicised for 6 weeks, inviting comments from people who live, work and carry out business in the area as well as a number of specific regional and national organisations and agencies. This consultation is known as Regulation 16

Bedford Borough acknowledge Wootton’s Neighbourhood Plan and Officers have checked the submission documents for compliance with the regulation and all necessary information has been provided. The next step is to commence publication of the plan.

Public consultation on the Submission Plan (Regulation 16)
This is a 6-week consultation that is published by Bedford Borough Council. All representations made to the Submission Plan are passed onto the independent examiner
